It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary L. Rowe Sr. of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Rowe and Eleanor Rowe (Bricker); his son Gary L. Rowe, Jr.; and his siblings, Annabelle Cool, Mary Farrow, Brenda Oberholzer, Harold "Butch" Rowe and Paul E. Rowe, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Judy A. Rowe (Brechbiel); his daughter Kelly King of Waynesboro; his grandchildren, Shelby Rowe of Waynesboro, Gary L. Rowe, III of Waynesboro and Dalton M. King of Waynesboro; his siblings, Ronald Rowe (Dory) of Greencastle, PA, Carl E. Rowe, Sr. of Fayetteville, PA and Barbara Diffenderfer (Victor) of Chambersburg; his mother-in-law Janet Brechbiel of Waynesboro; and his brothers-in-law, Donald L. Brechbiel (Barbara) of Waynesboro and Randy Farrow of Waynesboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home (50 S Broad St, Waynesboro, PA 17268). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Mount Zion Cemetery.
