She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur T. Neibert and Ethel Neibert (Diehl); and her siblings, Betty Newcomer, Walter Neibert and Charles Neibert.
She is survived by: her husband William W. Shaffer; her sons, William T. "Ted" Shaffer (Emillee) of Chambersburg and Alan W. Shaffer (Nancy Lynch) of Texas; and her grandchildren, Ryan Shaffer, Robert Shaffer and Richard Shaffer. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
