She was predeceased by: her parents, Vasili Papadopoulous and Stavroula Kommata; and her siblings, George Papadopoulous and Konstantina Papadopoulou. She is survived by: her husband Hughie P. Chavis Jr. of Waynesboro; her children, Hughie P. Chavis III of Wichita, Kansas, Christos Chavis of Waynesboro and Triada Chavis of Waynesboro; and her sisters, Panagiota Papanikolaki and Anthi Skokou of Greece. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
