He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Figueroa and Modesta Figueroa (Zapata); his son John Figueroa; and his brothers, Samuel, Rolando and Adolfo.
He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Figueroa (Socks); his son Joseph Figueroa; and his siblings, Emilio, Lupe, Betty, Alicia, Elena, Abelardo, Roberto and Modesta. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
