He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward S., Sr. and Anna Emory (Smiley); his sons, Michael S. Emory and Matthew L. Emory; and his siblings, Cora Grissinger, Mary Ingels, Margaret Emory, Elsie May Emory, Eddie, Sammie, Charles and John Emory.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Emory (Tammy) of Greencastle, Mark Emory (Adrienne) of Waynesboro, Scott Emory (Sherry) of Waynesboro and Wendy Leggett (Tim Welsh) of Cascade, MD; his former wife Patricia Hockenberry; and his brother Willis Emory of York. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews as wells as a host of extended family and friends.
