He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer C. Shockey and Rosie V. Shockey (Welsh); and his siblings, Clark Shockey, Wilbur Shockey, Tressa Shoemaker and Ray Shockey, Sr..
He is survived by: his sons, Earl "Harry" Shockey of Greencastle, PA and Robert Shockey, Sr. (Barb) of Waynesboro; his grandchildren, Robert Shockey, Jr., Melanie Witek and Theresa Kahl; his siblings, Orville Shockey of Waynesboro, Glen Shockey of State Line, PA and Kathleen McNew of Fayetteville; and his close friend Violet Kiser. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
