It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris J. Ridge of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tarman and Ella Marie Tarman (Monn); her husband Howard Clyde Ridge; her sister Bernice Biddinger; and her grandson Jason Ridge.
She is survived by: her sons, James H. Ridge (Deborah L.) of St. Thomas, PA, John D. Ridge (Deborah J.) of Greencastle, PA and Jerry L. Ridge (Karen) of Waynesboro; her grandchildren, Jeremy Ridge, Chad Ridge, Michael Ridge, Aynjala Ash and Amy Shockey; and her stepgrandchildren, Gary Johnson and Tammy Christensen. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Waynesboro Church of the Brethren (117 S Church St, Waynesboro, PA 17268). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
