She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Franklin Barnhart and Martha Barnhart (McKendrick); her husband E. K. "Buck" Sheldon; her son Rev. Terry A. Sheldon; her daughter-in-law Betsy L. Sheldon; and her sisters, Betty J. Ingels and Phyllis M. Burkholder.
She is survived by: her son Rev. Steven R. Sheldon (Kathy) of Waynesboro. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
