He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald B. McBride and Elizabeth Mann (Morrison); his son-in-law Jeff Stahley; his stepfather Edgar Mann; and his siblings, Sondra Bowling and Robert McBride.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara McBride (Baker); his daughters, Valerie McBride of Waynesboro and Julie Stahley of Greencastle; and his granddaughter Morgan Stahley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
