He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel F. Pentz and Edna F. Pentz (Miner); his former wife Betty Jean Pentz; his great grandchild Ruby Skye; and his siblings, June Wolff, Merle "Nub" Pentz and Rev. Croft Pentz.
He is survived by: his wife Alyceann Pentz of Waynesboro; his children, Nancy P. Currey (Ron) of Waynesboro and David C. Pentz (Nanette) of Waynesboro; his grandsons, Ryyn Currey, Andrew Currey, Jonathan Pentz and Adam Pentz; his great grandchildren, Liam Pentz and Savannah Pentz; his siblings, Catherine Pentz of Waynesboro, Mary A. Coldsmith of Chambersburg, Robert H. Pentz of Phoenix, AZ, George W. Pentz of Waynesboro and John W. Pentz of Carlisle, PA; and his stepchildren, April D. Newsome (Dwan), Rick E. Williams (Leane Kephart) and Darlene E. Lawrence (Charles C.). He is also survived by six step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren.
