He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Martin and Alice Schwartz (Burr); his wife Annamarie Schwartz (Henneberg); his brother Elmer Schwartz, Jr.; and his nephew Carl Schwartz.
He is survived by: his children, Jeanine M. Davis (Glen R. Davis) of Hendersonville, NC, Karin A. Scribner (Kevin D. Scribner) of Brunswick, ME, Beverley L. Wall (Edward R. Wall) of Mechanicsville, VA and David C. Schwartz of Reston, VA; his grandchildren, Joshua, Shannon, Sean and Rachel; his great grandchildren, Katelynn, Braylon and Leon; his sister Jane Ott (Richard Ott); and his nieces, Aline, Diane, Sharron (Ott), Erika and Carolyn (Schwartz).
