She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Simpson and Sadie Simpson (Himes); her husband James E. Selman; her siblings, Dorothy Smith, Mary Metzger, Norma Jean Deffebaugh, Pete Himes, Paul Simpson, Walter "Bud" Simpson, Dick Simpson and Dale Simpson; and her close friend John Brown.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry E. Selman of Waynesboro, Michael A. Selman (Anne) of Waynesboro and Mark L. Selman (Melodiee) of Waynesboro; her grandchildren, Michael Selman, Jr. and Anna Selman; her great grandchild MaryAnne Horne; and her sisters, Donna Heasley of Corsica, PA and Barbara Kay Simpson of Corsica, PA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
