Sears Sr. of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 79, on November 20, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Sears and Ruby Sears (Powell); his son David Sears; and his siblings, Lewis, Mildred and Peggy.

He is survived by: his wife Norma J. Sears (Naundorf); his sons, Charles W. Sears, Jr. (Carol) of Medway, MA and Andrew L. Sears (Beth); his grandchildren, Robbie, Lily, Nicole and Kristen; his stepchildren, Donald Chapman of Diberville, MS and Jaime Lidie (Thomas) of Bluffton, SC; and his stepgrandchildren, Tori Chapman, Adam, Josie and Adrien Lidie.
