He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A., Sr. and Etta Mae Gardenhour (Coss); and his wife Miriam V. Gardenhour (Naugle). He is survived by: his daughter Karen Rock (Joe) of Waynesboro; his grandsons, Todd Gardenhour of Williamsport, MD, Troy Gardenhour of Waynesboro, Brandon Rock of Waynesboro, Jared Rock of Waynesboro and Casey Rock of Waynesboro; his great grandchildren, Justin Gardenhour, Cody Gardenhour, Marissa Gardenhour, Emily Naugle, Madison Gardenhour, Megan Gardenhour and Noah Gardenhour; and his brother John Gardenhour. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
