He is survived by: his children, Charles R. "Sonny" Comstock of Waynesboro, Shannon L. Melton (Mark) of Mercersburg, PA and Amy M. Bakner (Tobin) of Shepherdstown, WV; his grandchildren, Pheylan Cooper, Joshua Melton and Miranda Bakner; and his sisters, Doris Laris of Texas, Catherine Svenson of New York and Barbara Butler of New York. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
