He was predeceased by: his parents, Concepcion Mendoza and Gregoria Gonzalez; his wife June M. Mendoza (Mills); and his siblings, Gregory Mendoza, Maria Rodriguez, Luis Mendoza, Angel Mendoza, Christobal Mendoza and Victoria Soto.
He is survived by: his daughters, Candida C. Mendoza of Waynesboro and Constancia Mendoza of Waynesboro; his grandchildren, Ian, Marvin, Austen, Quentin and Cameron; his great grandchildren, Treyton, Acacia and Carter; and his siblings, Raymond Mendoza of Humacao and Lucy Mendoza of Humacao.
