He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Dale and Esther Mae Bowser (Hamm); his son Barry Richard Bowser; his granddaughter Makenzie L. Bowser; and his siblings, Audrey Stains, Peggy Feathers, Ronald Bowser, Joe Bowser, Jessie Bowser, Kenneth and William Bowser.
He is survived by: his wife Dorene L. Bowser (McCleary); and his sons, Jason E. Bower of Waynesboro, Joseph M. Bowser of Waynesboro and Charles E. Bowser of Waynesboro. He is also survived by several grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
