With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty L. Simmers of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, born in Quincy, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 4, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chancey E. Triesh and Catherine G. Triesh (Haugh); her husband Glenn R. Simmers; and her sister Sylvia J. Bingaman. She is survived by: her children, Katrina L. Rowe (Paul) of Towanda, PA, Dwayne R. Simmers (Connie) of Waynesboro, Annette A. Simmers of Gettysburg, PA, Andrew E. Simmers (Julie) of Fort Loudon, PA, Darwin R. Simmers of Shippensburg, PA and Glenn C. Simmers (Tammy) of Waynesboro; and her sisters, Alice A. Olsen of Hagerstown and Debra K. Baker of Waynesboro. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
