It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jane Bender of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, born in Rouzerville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 26, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Straley and Mary Ellen Straley (Higgins); and her siblings, Paul, Lynn, Glenn, Anne Mae, Violet and Goldie "Jean".
She is survived by: her husband Richard E. Bender; her son Ronald E. Bender of Waynesboro; and her siblings, Mary Anne Clugston of Mercersburg, PA and Robert Straley of Greencastle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
