With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty J. Freeman (Waynesboro, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 8, 2019 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer G. Burns and Harriet C. Burns (Seifert); her husband Robert H. "Jack" Freeman, Sr.; and her siblings, Richard Burns, Vivian Orris, Kathleen Smith, Hilda Swisher and Edna Mae Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Robert H. "Jay" Freeman, Jr. of Fort Loudon, PA, Linda E. Green of Quincy, PA, Gloria J. Strine of Fayetteville, PA, Marcella E. Ankerbrand of Fayetteville, PA, Wanda K. Straley of Marion, PA and Roberta I. Davis of Chambersburg; and her siblings, Beulah Myers of Waynesboro and Earl Burns of York, PA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
