He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeremiah Halstead and Margaret F. Halstead (Love). He is survived by: his daughter Keri Welch (Steven Kidwell); his grandsons, William "Parry" Welch and Jeremiah Welch; and his siblings, Jerry Halstead (Martha) of Bridgeville, Barbara McManigle of Greensburg, Karen Milyak (Ben) of Greensburg and Patti Bires (John) of Greensburg. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
