She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Griffith and Thelma Griffith; and her former husband Edward S. Athey. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Bergstrom (Susan) of Ellicott City, MD, Donis Bergstrom, Bud Bergstrom (Alix), Dayton, MD and Kristy Swiney (Mike) of Waynesboro, PA; and her husband Ed. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; two sisters.
