He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Emory and Enina Emory (Roland); and his brother John Emory of Rouzerville. He is survived by: his children, Arnold D. Emory, Jr. of Waynesboro and Melissa M. Wise of Waynesboro; his grandchildren, Faith Emory, Gabriella Emory, Cadence Wise, Alora Wise, Andrew Wise, Wyatt Wise, Autumn Wise and Diesel Emory; and his siblings, Isabelle Brown of Quincy, Linda Jones of Mont Alto, Connie Wetzel of Five Forks and Donald Emory of Rouzerville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
