With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Andrea Jean Hoover of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Andrea Jean left this world on February 16, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Andrea Jean shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Andrea Jean farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Janet E. Baker (Strine) and Andrew J. Baker; her husband Ronald E. Hoover; and her sister Linda Baker Scott Gonzalez. She is survived by: her brothers, Robert F. Hollinger (Norma Bower) and Daniel W. Baker (Cheryl). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home (50 S Broad St, Waynesboro, PA 17268). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Waynesboro Volunteer Fire Department, 10 Virginia Ave., Waynesboro, PA 17268 or the Antietam Humane Society, 8513 Lyons Road, Waynesboro, PA 17268.
