We bid farewell to Alta Sue (Thomas) Winpigler of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, born in Salem, West Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 8, 2024 at the age of 74. Alta Sue touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Alta Sue departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Alta Sue. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clavis Thomas and Sylvia Thomas (Youngs). She is survived by: her husband Joseph Michael Winpigler; and her children, Melinda Winpigler-White (Jim) of Maryland, Michael Winpigler (Candice) of Maryland and Tammy Schueler (Rob) of Maryland. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
