She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver P. Merchant and Mary Bell Merchant (Maddox); and her brothers, Oliver P. Merchant and Gene Maddox Merchant. She is survived by: her husband Raymond H. Shriver; her sons, Raymond P. Shriver (Sherryl) of Smithsburg, MD and Timothy C. Shriver (Mary) of Madison, WI; her grandchildren, Matthew Shriver (Chelsea) of Westminster, CO, Phillip Shriver (Emily) of Renton, WA, Jacob Shriver of San Francisco, CA, Ana Shriver of Madison, WI and Gus Shriver of Madison, WI; her great grandchildren, Elise Shriver and Everett Shriver; and her sisters, Mary E. Wharton (Merchant) of Ranson, WV and Sue A. Kesecker (Merchant) of Shepherdstown, WV. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
