He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred J. Hicks and Patricia M. Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Nancy W. Hicks; his children, Patrick Hicks (Paige), Molly York (Daniel), Hannah Hicks (Thomas), Austin Hicks (Julia) and Andrew Hicks; his grandchildren, Holden, Emma and Libby; and his siblings, Suzanne Longo (Robert), Kathleen Ruffin (Sam), Patricia Hicks, Nancy Kiolbasa (Joseph), Daniel Hicks (Dara) and Mark Hicks (Kim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
