He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence L. Peel and Mae Ann Peel-Schwenke (Bartel); his son Robert J. Peel, Jr.; and his brother Edward Peel. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Peel (McGill); his children, Karen L. Miller (Brian) and Ronald A. Peel; his grandchildren, Emily Peel Ruoff (Andrew), Robert James Peel III (Melanie), Timothy Peel, Blake, Jace and Kira Miller; his great grandchildren, Lyla and Ivy Ruoff; his siblings, Donald Peel (Janet) and Audrey L. Greco; his daughter-in-law Ann Peel; and his granddaughter Kristin Hill.
