With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Warfield Hoopes Wolcott (Wayne, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2025 at the age of 98. In the sacred silence of farewell, Margaret Warfield Hoopes is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Margaret Warfield Hoopes' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert (Bob); her sons, Douglas and Christopher; and her siblings, Louise Harrity and Albert Hoopes, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Allyn Greeney (Robert) and Anne Hillegass (Richard); and her granddaughter Margaret Milburn (Robert). She is also survived by step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. David's Episcopal Church (763 S Valley Forge Rd, Wayne, PA 19087).
