She is survived by: her husband David Pierce; her son Michael Pierce (Michelle); her brother Robert Volland (Patricia); her grandsons, Bradford Pierce (Hayleigh) and Hayden Pierce; her niece Bette Lynn Volland; and her nephew Billy Volland. She is also survived by married to her best friend for nearly 50 years and was a devoted wife.

“Deepest Sympathy to the family and friends of Betty Volland as I knew her back in Ridgewood, Midland Park, and Wyckoff, NJ. We were friends for many years starting when Betty was 15 and I was 16. We were connected to a large group of friends socially with the Los Manejaros Hot Rod Club of Ridgewood. We dated casually over the years and had many good times. She loved riding in my hot rod '46 Ford Coupe, "Pink Lady", that I built at 16 in my parents garage near the Volland household. RIP Betty.”
