He was predeceased by: his sister Lella Della Rink. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Gindhart Rink; his children, Edward Jr., Thomas (Heide) and Jennifer Murtaugh (Christopher); his sister Anna Mae Rink Knight; and his grandchildren, Thomas, Matthew, Grace, Benjamin, Rosemary, Molly, Christopher and Emma.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
