He was predeceased by: his parents, Roberts W. Keen and Helen Potter Keen; his brother Dale R. Keen; and his son-in-law Skip Lombardi. He is survived by: his wife Lois Keill Keen; his daughters, Beth Lombardi of Waymart, Debbie Burgess (Rick) of Lyons and Amy Jones (Donnie) of Waymart; his granddaughters, Leah Zawisky (John), Anessa Nation (Dominic), Ashley Chandler (Tim) and Shelley Gerstner (Heath); and his sister-in-law Helen S. Keen of Waymart. He is also survived by ten great-granchildren.
