He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael J. Mizianty and Sophia Mizianty; and his brother Dr. Michael F. Mizianty. He is survived by: his spouse James Edward Hill Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
At Wilkes, he was a pre-medical advisor, a Director of the National Science Foundation Institute for update instruction of High School Science Teachers, and mentored the first graduating student with a Master's Degree in Biology from the college.
