It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stella Stanton of Waymart, Pennsylvania, born in Chester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 11, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Leland A. Stanton; her father Orin Teeter; and her son Timothy Stanton. She is survived by: her mother Nettie Teeter (Maines); her children, Charlene Miller of South Carolina, Donna Masker of Florida, Joseph Stanton of Vandling, Melaney Long of Arizona, Daniel Stanton of Carbondale, Carolyn Urban of Clifford and Julie Thomas of Waymart; and her sister Laura Mullinnex of West Davenport, NY. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
