He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Derrick and Augusta Smith Derrick; and his siblings, Augustine Kovaleski, Elizabeth Chadwick, Gertrude Michko and Gerald Derrick.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Brown; his children, Donna Derrick (Greg Johnson) of Elizabeth City, NC, Robert G. Derrick Jr. (Trudy) of Beach Lake, Mary Olver (Jerry) of Honesdale and Thomas Derrick (Kim) of Waymart; and his son-in-law Paul H. Mathews of Waymart. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Bob's memory to either Waymart or Beach Lake Fire Company.
