He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schweinsburg and Evelyn Schweinsburg (Robinson). He is survived by: his wife Elaine Olver of Beach Lake; his children, Shawn Heraghty (James) of Elmira Heights, NY, Jodi Knecht (Tim) of Waymart, Robert Schweinsburg (Misty) and Ted Schweinsburg of Waymart; his brothers, John Schweinsburg (Donna) of Cicero, NY, Ray Schweinsburg (Margaret) of Polson, Fred Schweinsburg (Nancy) of Lake Ariel and David Schweinsburg (Susan) of Waymart; and his grandchildren, James, Maura, Kaylea Heraghty, Dale, Justin, Kenny Knecht, Shanequa Knecht Moser, Jacob, Hunter Wells, William and Timmy Schweinsburg. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Richard's memory to Dave Olver Wrestling Scholarship Fund, the Disabled American Veterans or the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
