He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Hopkins and Edna Hopkins (Gillette) of Rileyville; his former wife Linda Gevert; his sister Marie Diehl; and his nephew Jake Hopkins.
He is survived by: his wife Jeraldine "Jeri" Hopkins; his son David (Patricia) of Herrick Center; his grandchildren, Zachary (Stephanie) and Zane of Hawley; his son Larry (Allyson) of Rileyville; his grandchildren, Kyra of White Mills and Samuel of Rileyville; his stepdaughters, Jennifer Schott, Carrie Gallagher, Katie Gregory and Elizabeth Smith; his siblings, Harold "Hop" Hopkins (Betty) of Tyler Hill and Sandy Hartzel (Frank) of Williamsport; his nephew Robert Diehl Jr.; and also Lucy of Plymouth.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Paul's memory to either or both scholarship funds of Jake Hopkins and Robert Diehl, Jr. at the Wayne County Community Foundation, 214 9th Street, Honesdale, PA 18431.
