We are sad to announce that on May 4, 2023, at the age of 92, John J. Palko of Waymart, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph P. Palko and Julia A. Trumbetas Palko; his wife Doris (Ginda); and his siblings, Joseph, Paul, Leonard Palko and Ann Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Cappello (John) of Hackettstown, NJ, Blaise P. Palko (Maria) of Waymart, Stephen Palko (Cindy) of Waymart and Pauline Palko of Waymart; his grandchildren, Andrea Faschan (Matt), Charles Cappello, Jeremy Palko and Jared Palko (Rachael); his great grandchildren, Lucas, Leah and Ellie; and his sister Rosemary Sieg of Taylorsville, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore, St. Francis of Assisi Kitchen of Scranton, or St. Francis of Assisi Commons of Scranton.
