She was predeceased by: her husband Donald R. Coons; her parents, Thomas Parke Atkins and Mary E. Atkins (Vernier); her son Donald Eric Coons; and her great grandchild Charlotte VanLeuven.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas (Lisa) of Waymart, Kurt (Diane) of Waymart, Julie Swingle (David) and Karen Matoushek (Karl); her grandchildren, Lyndsey Matoushek (Jeff Roth), Elijah Matoushek, Sara VanLeuven (Bradley), Kyle Coons, Parker Coons and Evan Coons; and her great grandchild Norah VanLeuven. She is also survived by several sisters; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
