Jan Cheripko Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jan Cheripko (Waymart, Pennsylvania), born in West Point, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 29, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cheripko and Frances Conine Cheripko; and his sister Shari Slegona. He is survived by: his wife Valray Lynn Cheripko; his daughter Julia; his son-in-law Jason Kromko; his grandchildren, Gavin and Madison; his nephew Justin Knapp (Liz); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jonah, Fin, Emerson and Cordelia; his niece Jill Van Cook; and his mother-in-law Peggy Wills.
