He was predeceased by: his father Henry G. Curtis, Sr.; his siblings, Barbara Curtis, Patricia Lawrence, Edward Curtis, Wilber Curtis (George) and Niles Curtis; and his grandson Daniel Curtis, Jr..

He is survived by: his former wife Susanna K. Lopatofsky; his wife Susanna "Sue" Curtis; his children, Christopher (Diane), Matthew (Mary Ann), Daniel, Paul (Nancy), Teresa Fleming (Brian), Michael and Stephen (Susan); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Ashley, Rachel, Jacob, Elizabeth, Adam, Zachary, Ryan, Samantha, Cassandra, Erika, Amy, Amber, Luke, Austin, Gregory, Alexander and Nickolas; and his brother Charles D. Curtis. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
