With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Burns of Waverly, Pennsylvania, born in Sayre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 12, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burns (Hennesey) and Olive May Burns (Herrick); and his brothers, Bob, Jack, Bill, James and Paul.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Burns; his children, Peggy, Paul, Patty (Tom), Terri, Lizzie (Mark) and Tom (Stacey); his grandchildren, Samantha (Ray), Patrick (Jenna), Molly (Luke), Danny (Caity), Kelly (Kevin), Ryan and Meagan; and his sister Pat.
Due to COVID-19 the family plans to have a private memorial service later this year.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Waverly Public Library.
