It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Slama in Waverly, Pennsylvania, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on July 19, 2024, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Schilgen and Louise Schilgen (Cormier); her former husband Richard C. Slama; her brothers, William and John "Jack" Schilgen; and her daughter-in-law Yrminda Fortes Slama.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard C. Slama, Jr. of Wynnewood, PA and Robert D. Slama; her daughter-in-law Sharon of Summit, NJ; her grandchildren, Hilary Seeley (Bill Seeley) of San Mateo, CA, Richard L. Slama of Seattle, Edward Slama (Kim Blackman) of Wynnewood, PA., Christopher and Caroline Slama (Nat Lownes) of Philadelphia; and her great grandchildren, Lydia, Joseph, Mark, Gregory Slama, Adele, Zoe Slama, Olivia, Calvin Seeley, Beza and Tadesse.
