He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Viola and Angeline Viola (Turso). He is survived by: his wife Olga L. Gammaitoni; his children, John J, Marian Viola Berns (Dennis) and Joanne Viola; his grandchildren, J. Alex Viola, Allison Turner (Jim) and Katherine Viola; his siblings, Dominic (Andrea), James, Joseph (Joie), Ann Viola Clement (Bill), Michael and Connie Rothenberger; and his siblings-in-law, Jack Rothenberger and Elisabeth Viola. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
