He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Ann Schlaak Kimmy; and his brother Edward Kimmy. He is survived by: his father James Kimmy; his daughter Jazlynn Kimmy; his stepmother Tammie Kimmy of Waterford; and his siblings, Sabrina Courson of Erie, Jeffrey Kimmy (Ronda) of Wattsburg, Joseph Kimmy (Penny) of Wattsburg and Steven Kimmy of Wattsburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
