He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Prody and Waunita Prody (Hamilton); his wives, Helen Vanderhoof Prody, Mary Pyle and Beverly Hart Prody; his son Alan Prody; and his granddaughter Ashley Aul.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Aul (David Jr.) of Spartansburg, Herber Prody Jr. of North East and Jason Prody of Wattsburg; his stepsons, Clayton Vanderhoof III (Melissa) of Erie and Donald Vanderhoof of Pleasantville; his grandchildren, David Aul III, Lacey Aul, Christina Rhodes (Aaron), Megan Prody, Corbin Prody (Janelle), Sydney Prody, Cheyenne Prody, Brittany Brummit, Josh Ayers and Cody Ayers; his siblings, Richard Prody (Betty) of Ridge Manor, FL and Carol Wright of Hydetown; and his brother-in-law Allen Cochran of Pleasantville. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
