He is survived by: his spouse Georgiene L. Mottern; and his children, Tom Messinger (Edna), Richard Messinger, John Crumb (Heather), Charles Crumb (Patricia), Emma Agajanian (Jeff), Sandy Murray (Richard) and Jonnie Potter (Greg).
