It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Loftus (Watsontown, Pennsylvania), born in Loyalsock, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 11, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fuller Hartranft and Anna Hartranft (Nittinger); her husband Vincent P. Loftus; her brothers, Charles "Bud" and Carl Hartranft; and her siblings-in-law, James Weaver, George Pardoe and Charlotte Hartranft.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Loftus (Beth), Sally Gillespie (Robert) of Drums, Paul Loftus (Barbara) and Mary Ellen Neslund (Dave) of Lititz; her sisters, Ellen Pardoe of Lewisburg and Ruth Weaver of Milton; her sister-in-law Jeanne Hartranft; and her grandchildren, David, Katie, Brian, Scott Loftus, Kelly, Robert, Casey Gillespie, Phillip, Bridget and Patrick Neslund.
