He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Diehl and Lillian Diehl (Klinger); and his siblings, Jonathan, Wilbur, Grant Diehl, Grace Trate, Janice Coots and Marcella Snyder.
He is survived by: his wife Susan M. Hoffer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
