It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margareth M. Kilgus of Watsontown, Pennsylvania, born in Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Franz Marquardt and Louise Marquardt (Reer); her husband J. "Dick" Kilgus; her daughter Barbara Kilgus; her siblings, Edward Reer, Robert, Frank, Alton, Arthur, Daniel Marquardt and Louise "Lady" Ledger; and her great grandchild Brady Zimmerman.
She is survived by: her children, June Zimmerman (Tom) of Williamsport, Ocie Kilgus (Gary Entz) of Rhinelander, WI and J. Ned Kilgus (DeNiess) of Watsontown; her grandchildren, Brian Zimmerman (Nuttiya) of Quincy, MA, Andrew Zimmerman (Amanda) of Lewisburg, Claire Zimmerman of Los Angeles, CA, Zachery Kilgus (Alicia) of Stephenville, TX, Sydney Kilgus-Vesely of Asheville, NC and Zane Kilgus of Watsontown; her great grandchildren, Slate Kilgus, Maci and Samantha Zimmerman; and her sisters-in-law, Pauline Johnson and Jean Marquardt. She is also survived by Aunt.
